What’s the easiest way to get to Culebra Chiropractic from Alamo Ranch, Westover Hills, or Helotes?

Most patients reach us by taking Loop 1604 to the Culebra Road (FM 471) exit and heading east toward the clinic. From Alamo Ranch, the drive is typically 8 to 12 minutes depending on traffic. From Westover Hills and the Hwy 151 corridor, patients often come north on Ingram Road to Culebra, which avoids the busier 1604 interchange. From Helotes, head south on Bandera Road (Hwy 16) and then east on Grissom or Tezel to Culebra. From I-410, take Exit 10 onto Culebra Road and head west. We’re located between Timber View Drive and Piper Lane in the Corte de Pelo pa’ Diego plaza.

Is there parking at your Culebra Road office?

Yes, free parking is available directly in front of the clinic in the Corte de Pelo pa’ Diego plaza. The lot is ground-level and easy to access from Culebra Road, and the entrance to our suite is a short walk from most parking spots. If you’re visiting us after an auto accident and have limited mobility, we’re happy to meet you at the door — just call ahead and let our front desk know.

Do you offer early morning, evening, or weekend appointments?

We’re open Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, Fridays from 9 AM to 1 PM, and closed on weekends. Our first and last appointment slots are the most popular for working patients commuting on Loop 1604, Hwy 151, or I-410, so we recommend booking those in advance. The midday hours (11 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 3 PM) are often more flexible for same-week scheduling and work well as lunch-hour visits for patients working in the Westover Hills or SeaWorld business corridors.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major PPO insurance plans, Texas Personal Injury Protection (PIP) auto coverage, and offer cash-pay rates for patients without chiropractic benefits. Before your first visit, our front desk team can run a complimentary benefits check so you know exactly what’s covered, what your copay looks like, and whether your plan has a visit limit. If you were injured in an auto accident, we also handle claims through your PIP coverage and can coordinate with your attorney if you’re working with one. "Having been to many doctors and "specialists", I made the decision to seek an alternative technique after 14 years of injections, medications, creams, PT, I gave up. I decided to seek out a chiropractor clinic. I just happened to see his office on a drive to an instrument store and decided to check it out. The receptionist greeted me very friendly and professional and explained what they actually do. I had never seen a chiropractor before and she was very informative. Thankfully they accepted my insurance but I was able to make an appointment right away. The first time I went, I was already in extreme, excruciating pain after falling down the stairs. Dr. Sanford and his assistant were very gently with me and I felt way better than I had. I need to make another appointment with them as I still have chosen not to seek other back specialists but hands down this was definitely a great choice I made versus medication and painful injections.
